Not long before the year 2019 came to an end, Xiaomi was quick to tease an upcoming smartwatch called the Mi Watch Color. On 2 January 2020, the company has now revealed the new watch’s specifications and pricing on its Weibo account.
The Mi Watch Color features a 1.39-inch 454×454 pixel AMOLED display, and includes over 110 watch faces for users to choose from. Functionality-wise, the watch includes fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking.
It also is equipped with multi-function NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS support, and is water-resistant up to 50 meters. The Mi Watch Color is equipped with a 420 mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims could last up to 14 days on a full charge. Additionally, the watch will be available in black and silver colours, as well as offering 6 different silicone wristbands and leather straps.
The new smartwatch is priced at CNY799 (~RM469) and will be available for purchase in China on 3 January 2020. Xiaomi has not revealed any plans for a global release for the Mi Watch Color just yet.
