Sony Interactive Entertainment is a little late this time around, but it has announced January’s free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. And what a set to start the new year of 2020 with.
The first free PlayStation Plus title is great simply because it’s three great games in one. It’s Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which consists of the first three games of the Uncharted series. The controls have also been tweaked so that the they are consistent for all three games. If you’ve only played the fourth entry, and never tried the earlier ones on previous generation consoles, then this is a must get. Assuming you haven’t already bought it, that is.
Relive three classic Nathan Drake adventures or experience them for the first time as Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Goat Simulator are FREE to download for all PS Plus members from 8 Jan to 3 Feb!#PlayEverythingPS4#PlayStationAsia pic.twitter.com/S9LyWcxDjA

Next for PlayStation Plus subscribers is, if anything else, a good gag game. The Goat Simulator lets you cause as much havoc as possible while controlling a goat. There’s no other objective to be achieved, which makes it different enough from the more recent Untitled Goose Game. That said, developers Coffee Stain Studios retained some non-breaking bugs for laughs. As for whether or not you’ll find it as funny, well, your mileage may vary.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can get these free games from 8 January 2020, which is next Wednesday. They will be available until 3 February. If you yet claimed the free games for Decemeber 2019, now is as good a time as any to do so. You’d especially not want to miss one of them, which is the great Titanfall 2.
