Samsung has officially begun rolling out the official Android 10 OS update for its Galaxy Note10 series in Malaysia. The update comes just over a week after it was reported that the update had already begun making its round within Europe and the US.
The stable update, which is designated as N975FXXU1BSL7, is being rollout via OTA to all Note10 devices in the country. Contrary to an earlier report, though, the size of the update stands at nearly 2GB. The same size as the update that rolled out for the Galaxy S10 series more than a month ago.
Feature-wise, the Android 10 update comes with Samsung’s One UI 2, along with a new Dark mode, Smoother animations, and new full-screen animations and gestures.
If you own either a Note10 or Note10+, your software update tab should already be prompting or alerting you to the update’s availability. In our case, the update only began on our Note10+ after we manually downloaded and installed the software. So, if you don’t see the update yet, you might want to do the same and manually refresh the tab.
Of course, it goes without saying that if you still haven’t received the update, do be patient as Samsung could simply be rolling out the OTA update in batches.
