Along with the Galaxy S10 Lite, Samsung is reportedly planning to release a Lite variant of the Galaxy Note 10 in early 2020 as well. Winfuture, the German tech website that provided the alleged specifications of the S10 Lite, also revealed details of the Note 10 Lite just recently.
According to the site, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite sports a 6.7-inch SuperAMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels in Full HD+ and a pixel density of 398 PPI. Other than that, the screen provides HDR support, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and a 32MP selfie camera in a top-centered punch-hole housing.
Unlike the S10 Lite that allegedly features a Snapdragon 855 processor, the Note 10 Lite is reportedly equipped with a Samsung’s Exynos 9810 SoC instead – a detail that was also previously leaked on Geekbench a while back. To recap, the same Exynos processor was introduced as part of 2019’s Galaxy S9 series, and has a maximum clock rate of up to 2.7Ghz.
Winfuture added that the Note 10 Lite will have 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal flash memory with microSD support of up to 512GB, and a battery capacity of 4500mAh that supports 25W Samsung Fast Charging. If the latter information is accurate, the Lite variant would actually feature a larger battery compared to its other Note 10 siblings – the standard is equipped with a 3500mAh battery, while the Plus variant features 4300mAh.
Camera-wise, the Note 10 Lite is speculated to sport a triple 12MP camera setup on its back. The trio comprises of a main camera with an f/1.7 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus, a 2x telephoto with f/2.4 aperture, and a wide-angle with f/2.2 aperture. A very different approach compared to the S10 Lite’s alleged camera setup where it also includes a 12MP wide angle, but features a larger sensor of 48MP for its main, and a 5MP macro camera instead of a telephoto.
Besides that, Winfuture also claims that the smartphone is 8.7mm thick, weighs 198 grams, includes support for Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and dual-band WiFi, as well as featuring an integrated S-Pen. Matching up with OnLeaks’ Note 10 Lite renders that was released earlier this month, the site mentions that a 3.5mm jack is allegedly present on the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is reportedly cheaper than the S10 Lite, at a price of EUR609 (~RM2796). Both smartphones are expected to launch in Europe some time in January 2020.
