E-hailing company, Grab, is planning to expand its GrabFood service, along with GrabExpress and GrabMart to more locations in Malaysia. The company’s other services currently operates within selected areas in the Klang Valley, Penang, Melaka, Johor Bahru, Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu.
According to Grab, the expansion for its GrabFood and other services “will further increase business and income opportunities for all across the country.” The company’s food delivery service also recently added 19 more cities and major townships to its areas of operation.
The planned expansion of these services will now include locations such as Kajang, Bangi, Sungai Buloh, Rawang, Ipoh, Taiping, Seremban, Nilai, Kuantan, Kota Bharu, Kuala Terengganu, Miri, Bintulu, Batu Pahat, Muar, Alor Setar, Sungai Petani, Seberang Perai, and Langkawi.
Additionally, Grab also recently introduced GrabFood Signatures, a specially curated list of restaurant-partners across various cuisines. Some of the notable Signatures include franchises and restaurants such as MyBurgerLab, La Juiceria, Village Park Restaurant, Inside Scoop and so on.
