The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite is expected to launch in Europe soon. In the S10 Lite’s case, German tech website Winfuture claims that they have obtained its relevant technical data and expected launch price in the region.
According to the phone’s data sheet that was provided to Winfuture, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will come with a 6.7-inch SuperAMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels in a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Judging by the previous leaked renders circulating around the web, the major difference between the Lite version and the original variants is the centered punch-hole selfie camera on the upper half of its display.
Winfuture writes that the S10 Lite features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Octacore SoC which provides clock rates of up to 2.84Ghz, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal flash memory, and a battery capacity of 4500mAh with 45W USB-C Super Fast Charging 2.0. The phone is also able to support expanded memory of up to 1TB via a microSD card. It is reported to be powered by the Android 10 OS with the new Samsung One UI 2.0.
If these specifications are to be accurate, the S10 Lite gets a bit more interesting in the camera department. The phone allegedly features a triple camera setup which comprises of a 48MP main camera, a 12MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a first for any Samsung Galaxy smartphone – a macro camera with a 5MP sensor. Winfuture also states that the S10 Lite will feature Samsung’s optical image stabiliser technology known as tilt-OIS. Housed in the front display’s punch-hole is a 32MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2.
Most of the specifications uncovered by Winfuture seems to match up with the phone’s recent FCC listing which we’ve previously reported. While most rumours point out that the S10 Lite is equipped with the Snapdragon 855, there is be a chance that it may still feature Samsung’s Exynos processor for other regions such as the US and Malaysia. However, there have been no leaks or rumours that may suggest the latter as of yet.
The German tech website reportedly confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will have an official retail price of EUR 679.99 (~RM3130) in Europe. The phone is also expected to be available in black, white, and blue colour options.
