Alongside the recent launch of Redmi K30 and K30 5G, Xiaomi has also launched yet another new device in the form of RedmiBook 13. In many way, the launch mirrored the unveiling of Redmi K20 series earlier this year which also saw the announcement of RedmiBook 14.
Just like its older sibling, the new RedmiBook 13 comes standard with 10th Gen Intel Core processor. Specifically, it can be obtained with either Intel Core i5-10210U or Core i7-10510U.
Equipped with 13.3-inch Full HD display that has 89% screen-to-body ratio, both RedmiBook 13 variants also come standard with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics that is accompanied by 2GB GDDR5 VRAM. Both models are also equipped with 8GB DDR4-2666 RAM and 512GB SATA solid state drive as standard.
Built with keyboard that apparently has a travel distance of 1.3mm, the 1.23 kg laptop is also equipped with a pair of speakers that was tuned by Harman and enhanced by DTS Audio. A 40Whr battery that provides up to 11 hours of operational time completes its general specifications.
Price-wise, the RedmiBook 13 with Core i5 goes for CNY 4,799 (~RM 2,840) while the Core i7 is listed at CNY 5,499 (~RM 3,254). As per previous laptops from Xiaomi, the company didn’t reveal any plan to offer the new RedmiBook 13 in Malaysia for the time being.
