During the launch of its ColorOS 7 in China, OPPO also announced that the upcoming OPPO Reno 3 will be unveiled in December. To add more to the phone’s hype, Brian Shen, OPPO’s Vice President, recently tweeted a teaser image featuring the Pro 5G variant of the OPPO Reno 3.
From the image, the Reno 3 Pro 5G appears as a thin phone that features a curved display with slim bezels, and its power button is also visible on its side. Since we’re only provided with a partial view of the device, it’s uncertain if the phone will sport a punch-hole selfie camera, the Reno series’ iconic shark-fin popup camera, or the OPPO’s much awaited under-screen front camera that was demonstrated during MWC 2019 in Shanghai.
A first look at OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G – it will feature a glass body with a thickness of just 7.7mm (excluding the lens), which may just be the thinnest dual-mode 5G phone in it’s price segment. 👀 pic.twitter.com/KD9goOTD6b

Shen also commented that the phone “may just be the thinnest dual-mode 5G phone in its price segment.“ He also stated that the Reno 3 Pro 5G features a glass body and is measured at 7.7mm thick, excluding the lens.
OPPO has yet to release any further details on the Reno 3 series’ specifications, and its unknown if the teased design only applies across the series or only to the Pro 5G variant. We’ll be expecting more information once the company reveals it next month.
