If you are a PC hardware enthusiast, then you most probably aware that the 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Threadripper CPUs are now generally available for the public throughout the world. For Malaysia, we still have to wait for a little bit though as the two chips are on still on their way to our shores.
However, that didn’t stop AMD from officially announcing their price tag for Malaysia. Specifically, the 24-cores 48-threads Ryzen Threadripper 3960X with 3.8GHz base clock speed will be made available for RM 5,899 once it reaches our market.
As for the higher-end Ryzen Threadripper 3970X CPU which features 32-cores and 64-threads setup as well as a base clock speed of 3.7GHz, it is priced at RM 8,399. Do note that these 7nm CPUs requires the new TRX40 chipset which means that they are not compatible with the previous X399-based motherboards.
As for their actual availability in Malaysia, PC master race enthusiasts out there can look forward to their arrival sometime in early December. If you are game for either of these monster CPUs, we do recommend you to get in touch with your favourite retailers to secure a unit.
