Vivo has unveiled their brand new smartphone, the Vivo S1 Pro which is set to launch in Malaysia on 3 December. According to the company, the phone is a significant upgrade to the original Vivo S1 and is equipped with an upgraded camera and processor.
The Vivo S1 Pro features a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with a teardrop notch, which also features an in-display fingerprint scanner. It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 655 SoC, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and runs on Android 9 Pie via Vivo’s FunTouch OS 9.2. Battery-wise, it has a capacity of 4500mAh which supports 18W fast charging via USB-C port.
On its back, the Vivo S1 Pro features a diamond-shaped camera island that houses a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. In the teardrop notch on the phone’s front display is a 32MP selfie camera. The phone is available in two colour selections: Fancy Sky and Knight Black. Last but not least, it also has a 3.5mm jack on top.
Aside from the S1 Pro’s specifications and launch date, Vivo has not disclosed its price just yet. Stay tuned to our website once the phone officially lands in Malaysia next month.
