BAD LAB today has officially kicked off its latest eSports tournament called BAD DUEL. Held in collaboration with local personal care store, Watsons, this is the first time that two brands in the personal care industry co-organized an esports event together.
The BAD DUEL Dota 2 tournament will run in two phases. Teams will play in an online qualifier before proceeding to the main event, which will be offline. From there, the top four qualified teams will be invited to play in the finals on 16 and 17 November at Sunway Velocity Mall.
In the case of the BAD LAB Tekken 7 tournament, the duels will be hosted locally at the venue itself this week, with the first day kicking off alongside BAD DUEL tournament. Further, players in the top eight placings will be fighting for the grand prize on the second day.
On the subject of prizes, the BAD DUEL Dota 2 tournament features a total prize pool of RM4000, while the Tekken 7 tournament has a prize pool of RM2000. Additionally, all prizes include merchandise from BAD LAB.
