The wait is finally over, and Xiaomi has officially announced the Mi CC9 Pro. The phone, which was announced along with the Mi TV Pro 5 and Xiaomi Smartwatch, is a follow-up to the original Mi CC9 that was announced back in July of this year.
As a start, the Mi CC9 Pro is a camera focused smartphone, sporting a Penta-camera setup with a 108MP 1/1.33″ main sensor and optical image stabilisation (OIS). In addition, There’s also a 5x OIS super-telephoto zoom lens, a 20MP 117-degrees wide-angle sensor, a 12MP 2x telephoto sensor, and a macro sensor.
Around the front, the Mi CC9 Pro mounts a single 32MP sensor for its selfie camera. Xiaomi has included night mode shooting feature and the familiar beauty feature. On the other hand, the display has a size of 6.47-inches.
As confirmed by the leaks, the Mi CC9 Pro is outfitted with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G SoC and up to 8GB RAM and a 256GB internal storage capacity. Also, the smartphone packs a massive 5260mAh battery that supports 30W charging. Xiaomi says that the phone can be fully charged from 0% capacity in just 65 minutes.
Price-wise, the Mi CC9 Pro comes at a cost of 2799 yuan (~RM1654) for the 6GB / 128GB variant, 3099 yuan (~RM1832) for the 8GB / 128GB variant, and 3499 yuan (~RM2068) for the 8GB / 256GB combo. The phone also comes in either white, turquoise and black.
At the time of writing, Xiaomi Malaysia has not announced the local pricing and availability for the Mi CC9 Pro.
