Razer, the gaming company famed for its gaming accessories, has launched another gaming peripheral. It’s called the Razer Junglecat, and it is a mobile gaming controller designed to be used with Android smartphones.
Starting with the design, the Junglecat is a dual-sided mobile controller that features a typical controller layout. Both sides have an analogue stick, accompanied by a D-pad situated right below it. Additionally, two shoulder buttons can be found at the top.
The Junglecat connects to mobile devices via low-energy Bluetooth and can last up to 100 hours on a single charge. On another note, Razer will also provide a controller grip should the user want to game without attaching the accessory directly to the phone.
It also carries support for gaming on a Windows PC, but will require the PC to be running on Windows 8.1 or later. For Android users, Razer has packed in the Razer Gamepad app as well to optimize the controllers according to your game’s settings. Unfortunately, the controller is not supported by iOS.
The Razer Junglecat is already available for purchase via Razer’s official store. The variant that our market will be receiving includes a custom phone case for the Razer Phone 2, Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10+. Price-wise, the Junglecat retails for RM479.
