Even though the company has launched a new wearable in the form of Apple Watch Series 5, Apple has decided to continue selling the Apple Watch Series 3. Not surprisingly, the company has lowered down the price of Series 3, in order to entice those that didn’t want to splurge for the latest models.
Aside from the lower price tag, Apple is also bringing over the LTE variant of the Apple Watch Series 3, two years after the stand-alone GPS variant was made available in Malaysia. Naturally, the LTE model costs more than its stand-alone GPS counterpart:
38mm Sport Band – RM 849 (GPS) / RM 1,299 (LTE)
42mm Sport Band – RM 999 / RM 1,449
Nevertheless, the price differences between Series 3 and Series 5 are still quite significant even for the LTE models. For example, the cheapest Series 5 LTE model in Malaysia which is the 40mm Aluminium case with Sport Band, is being listed at RM 2,199.
In terms of release date, the Apple Watch Series 3 LTE will be made available starting from 1 November which is the same date as per Apple Watch Series 5. To learn more, just head on to Apple Malaysia’s website.
