While the OnePlus 7T launched a couple of weeks ago, the brand’s CEO, Pete Lau, released a teaser of the OnePlus 7T McLaren Edition. The teaser was uploaded on Twitter, and features a box with carbon fibre wrap and orange stripe.
As many of you know, this isn’t the first time OnePlus has released a McLaren Edition of its smartphone. Prior to this, the OnePlus 6T was the first device to get the McLaren treatment, which includes support for 30W charging that allows the phone to charge from zero to 70% in 30 minutes as an exclusive feature.

As a reference from the previous edition, the OnePlus 7T McLaren Edition will more probably have a black carbon fibre pattern wrapped around its back, plus a touch of orange accents around the sides. As the current OnePlus 7T already has a 30W charger, it is not exactly clear what unique feature OnePlus will add to the phone this round.
Given that the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition has made an appearance in our local markets before, it’s very likely that the successor will find its way to our shores, albeit sometime after its official launch.
