Last month, the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro were announced in India. With that, it was only a matter of time before they made their way here. Today, the company launched the pair of quad-camera phones on our shores.
To quickly recap, the Realme 5 Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset, and is powered by a 4035mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging tech. It’s main attraction is the 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad camera combo that sits at the back of the phone. On the front, there’s a 16MP front-facing camera that sits in a waterdrop notch of the 6.3-inch Full HD+ display.
The Realme 5 also comes with four cameras at the back, but it features a 12MP sensor as its main shooter instead. On the front, the 13MP camera sits in the waterdrop notch of the 6.5-inch Full HD+ display. On the inside, the Realme 5 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, and a large 5000mAh battery.
Unlike in India, the Realme 5 Pro comes only in its the 8GB + 128GB configuration, which is priced at RM1099. It’s available exclusively on Lazada starting 10 October, and will be made available on shelves at a later date. The Realme 5, on the other hand, comes in 3GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB combos. They are priced at RM599 and RM799, respectively, and will be available starting 17 October On Lazada.
