AfterShokz officially launched its latest generation of bone conduction headphones in Malaysia today. The products that were launched were the Aeropex and XTrainerz.
Starting with the Aeropex , this particular will is available in four different colour options: Lunar Gray, Cosmic Black, Blue Eclipse, and Solar Red. Additionally, the Aeropex has an IP67 rating, which makes it fully water and sweatproof.
Specs-wise, the Aeropex is 30% smaller and 13% lighter in comparison to the AfterShokz’s earlier Trekz Air headphones, and is built using what the brand describes as a “premium titanium frame”. Further, the new headphones also come with AfterShokz’s PremiumPitch 2+ audio technology that optimises the bass and minimises sound leakage while exercising.
Next on the list is the Xtrainerz. Unlike the Aeropex, the Xtrainerz are IP68 rated and are completely waterproof and capable of being immersed in water by up to two metres for a duration of two hours at a time. Moreover, the headphones come with a built-in 4GB storage capacity and support for a variety of digital formats, including MP3, WMA, WAV, and AA files.
What both the Aeropex and Xtrainerz have in common is their design. Both bone conduction headphones sport the brand’s OpenFit design, which allows the bands to comfortably wrap around the user’s head without compromising their senses to the world around them. Also, both devices have a battery life of eight hours on a single charge.
The AfterShokz Aeropex and Xtrainerz are already available at all authorised resellers and will retail for RM739 and RM699, respectively.
