At long last, Nintendo’s Mario Kart Tour is now officially available. The iconic shell-throwing, go-karting title is now downloadable on both iOS App Store and Google Play.
The game is available as a freemium app monthly subscription called Gold Pass, where players can try out the game before opting in for the full game. Gold Pass subscribers will be given access to a variety of in-game items and badges as they play. More importantly, it also gives players access to the faster and more competitive 200cc mode.
The Gold Pass is obviously optional, and will set you back US$4.99 (~RM21) per month. On a side note, that’s also the same monthly free Apple is charging for access to its new Apple Arcade mobile gaming service.

Before you’re able to play the game, you’ll need to link the game to your official Nintendo account. Upon signing in, players will be given a free gachapon roll for their first racer character and a tutorial shall commence.
