Fresh from IFA 2019, HMD Global today has launched several new phones in Malaysia including its latest mid-range Android One model, the Nokia 7.2. Together with Nokia 6.2 (more on that later), it carries a triple camera setup on its back.
As opposed to the Nokia 6.2 though, the optics on the rear camera module on Nokia 7.2 were designed by the world-renowned optical company, ZEISS which is a long-time collaborator of Nokia. In terms of sensor, the Nokia 7.2 main camera is equipped with a 48MP sensor alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera and 5MP depth camera.
On the front, the Nokia 7.2 carries a 20MP selfie camera which is housed within the phone’s teardrop-shaped notch on its 6.3-inch Full HD+ PureDisplay screen. Other than that, the Nokia 7.2 also comes with a 3500mAh battery.
Available from today onwards, the Nokia 7.2 in Malaysia comes standard with 6GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage, and RM 1299 price tag. In terms of colours, the Black model will be made available in Malaysia first before followed by Green and Ice starting from next week onwards.
