Alongside the new Mate 30 series, Huawei has also unveiled the brand-new Porsche Design Mate 30 RS. According to the company, the new model is the fifth handset to come from the collaboration between Huawei and Porsche Design.
True to the leak that we have seen earlier this week, the Mate 30 RS features a leather back cover that surrounds the middle glass area which houses the phone’s rear quad-camera setup. The Mate 30 RS carries the same set of cameras from Mate 30 Pro which include the 40MP ultra-wide f/1.8 Cine Camera, 40MP f/1.6 SuperSensing Camera, 8MP f/2.4 telephoto camera, and 3D depth sensing camera.
In terms of processor, the Mate 30 RS is equipped with the newly announced Kirin 990 5G processor just like the Mate 30 Pro 5G. Similarly, the phone also features the same 4500mAh battery that supports 40W wired and 27W wireless Huawei SuperCharge technology.
However, the Mate 30 RS does come standard with 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage which is the largest memory and storage option in the Mate 30 series. The rest of the phone’s specs were not yet officially revealed at the time this article is published.
Meanwhile, its availability and pricing in Malaysia are not known yet at the moment. Nevertheless, we do know that the Mate 30 RS is going to command a very hefty price tag since it was revealed at Munich that the Mate 30 RS will be available for EU 2095 which equals to around RM 9,706.
