While the new iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro might have garnered plenty of attention during the recent Apple launch event at Cupertino, there were plenty of other things that the company has talked about during the event. That includes its new game subscription service, Apple Arcade.
While the company has stated during the event that Apple Arcade will be available to consumers starting from 19 September onwards (20 September in Malaysia), iPhone users can actually sign up for the service right now. According to MacRumours, there are already more than 50 games can be played on Apple Arcade right away and more titles will be made available as Apple updates its catalogue from time to time.
Interesting enough, the early access to Apple Arcade service is not limited to users in the United States since we are able to do so in Malaysia as well. However, your iPhone must already be installed with iOS 13 which is currently in public beta stage before you are able to sign up for the service.
That being said, the public rollout of iOS 13 itself will begin on 19 September which means you don’t really have to sign up for the beta and just wait for the release of iOS 13 update for your iPhone in two days’ time.
In terms of pricing, the Apple Arcade goes for RM 19.90 per month although you are able to check out the service for free within one month before Apple begins to bill you. For more information, just head on to Apple Malaysia’s official website.
