Just a few weeks after they were revealed by the company, Samsung today has launched the new Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s in Malaysia. As you may notice from their names, both phones are being positioned as mid-range models.
Powered by Samsung Exynos 9611 octa-core processor, the Galaxy A50s is also equipped with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display that houses a 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera within its notch. Alongside a triple 48MP rear camera setup, on-screen fingerprint scanner, and 4000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging, Galaxy A50s in Malaysia comes standard with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Galaxy A30s on another hand also carries a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display but with Infinity-V design, lower HD+ resolution, and a 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Powered by Samsung Exynos 7904 processor, it also features lower resolution 25MP main camera although Samsung has retained the same 5MP and 8MP ultra-wide cameras from Galaxy A50s for the phone.
Same goes for its on-screen display and 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support although the variant in Malaysia is equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. In terms of availability, the Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s can be obtained in Malaysia starting from 21 September with a price tag of RM 1299 and RM 899 respectively.
