Earlier in March, Apple announced it’s new Arcade subscription service for games. Today, the company announced more details about the service. Specifically, Apple announced the date the service launches, as well as its subscription fee.
To quickly recap, Apple Arcade is a video game subscription service by the company. It boasts over 100 exclusive titles handpicked by Apple itself. The company also pledged to cover some of the development costs of the games.
The service will be accessible via the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. You can play your games offline, and your experience will not be interrupted by ads. Best of all, being exclusive to the subscription service, you won’t have to deal with microtransactions within the games found in Apple Arcade.
Apple Arcade will be available on 19 September 2019, which is according to the company’s initial fall availability announcement. A family subscription costs US$4.99 (~RM21) a month. If you’re unsure of signing up, you can also make use of its one-month free trial. It still remains to be seen if Malaysia is one of the 150 countries the service is coming to.
