Alongside the Predator Thronos Air Gaming Massage Chair and a new iteration of Swift 5, Acer has also introduced a new gaming laptop at IFA 2019. It comes in the form of the Predator Triton 300 which is the second thin and lightweight Triton model after the Predator Triton 500 that the Taiwanese PC giant introduced at CES 2019.
Available with up to Intel Core i7-9750H processor, users can choose to obtain the 144Hz option for the Triton 300’s Full HD IPS display. Also available with up to 16GB DDR4 RAM, the laptop can actually support up to 32GB RAM as well as 2TB NVMe solid state drive in RAID 0 mode and 1TB 7200rpm hard drive.
With a thickness of 22.9mm, there is only one graphics option for this 2.5kg laptop though, which is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics. This means that users who require GeForce RTX graphics need to obtain the higher-end Predator Triton 500 instead.
In terms of availability, the Predator Triton 300 will be generally released into the market from this coming October onwards with a general price tag of EU 1,299 (~RM 6,046). We’ll keep you posted once we hear more from Acer regarding the availability of the new gaming laptop in our market.
