With August on its way out, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced September’s batch of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. And it looks to be a good month too, as both free games are relatively high profile titles.
First up is Batman: Arkham Knight. The final title of the Batman: Arkham series of video games, it also introduces a playable Batmobile that can be used as transportation as well as solve puzzles. It also introduces a new villain, the titular Arkham Knight who unites the other villains to finally defeat the vigilante.
The second game is Darksiders 3. The third game of the series features the third of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Fury. Despite being a sequel, its plot runs parallel to the first two games, and sees Fury on her quest to defeat the Seven Deadly Sins.
Unlike before, SIE has not revealed the date these games can be claimed. That said, judging from the window of the previous set of free games, it’s likely these two will be free to download starting 4 September. Now’s also a good time to get August’s free games if you haven’t already done so.
