Hot on the heels of the global launch for the Mi 9T Pro, Xiaomi is busy at work once again as its sub-brand, Redmi is about to release yet another new set of devices into the market. This time around, they come in the form of Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro.
Officially, Redmi has yet to reveal the full technical details for any of these phones. That being said, the brand has provided the first glimpse of the 64MP rear camera that has been equipped into Note 8 Pro, through its Weibo page:
Another important detail regarding the Redmi Note 8 series has also been revealed through Weibo. However, the revelation was not made by Redmi itself.
Instead, it was done by MediaTek who has stated the new phone series will be powered by the company’s equally new Helio G90T processor which was announced in New Delhi just a few weeks ago in the presence of Xiaomi:
Meanwhile, we don’t have to wait long to find out learn more about Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro though since both of them will be launched in China on 29 August. With that, stay tuned for more updates later this month.
