Ubisoft has previously given quite a number of games out for free. The publisher has given away at least three Assassin’s Creed games up to this point. Now, the company is doing so again. The title in question this time is For Honor. That said, you can only claim the game for free on Uplay.
If you are not familiar with the game, For Honor is an action fighting game hybrid of sorts. The game pits warriors of different factions – Knights, Samurai and Vikings – against each other. Each faction has a number of unique characters that are divided into generic classes. A fourth faction – the Wu Lin – has since been added to the game.
To claim the game for free, all you need to do is to sign into your Uplay account from the Ubisoft Store. The offer is valid until 27 August, so you have a whole week to get it, but there’s no reason to not just claim it whenever you can.
The For Honor giveaway is also part of larger Gamescom sale, with discounts going all the way up to 90%. Anno 1800 will also be free to play for the week, but you won’t be able to play without buying it after 26 August.
