Rumours of the upcoming iPhone featuring three rear cameras have been floating around for awhile. The iPhone XR successor is also rumoured to come with two cameras at the rear. It looks like these rumours could now be applied to the iPad Pro and iPad range as well.
As Mac Otakara reports, a source indicates that both iPad Pro modes, the 11-inch and 12.9-inch models, will be sporting three cameras at the rear. The 10.2-inch entry-level iPad is also said to come with two rear cameras. The source also said that the iPads will be launched in October.
The iPad Pro first got a major redesign last year, when it trimmed off most of its bezels. If these rumours are to be believed, it will also be skipping getting two rear cameras, going straight for three. The regular iPads haven’t seen much change in design either, despite rumours of the iPad mini 5 getting a redesign similar to the iPad Pro.
Judging from last year’s iPad Pro announcement, October may indeed be the month when Apple announces this year’s iPad Pros. But until then, we’ll have to wait and see if they will indeed feature three cameras at the back.
