In case you missed the news from last month, Apple has finally updated its entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro which the company first introduced back in 2017. Unlike the updated MacBook Air which was also announced at the same time but made available in Malaysia immediately, it is only now that the updated entry-level MacBook Pro is also available for purchase.
Among the new changes that the entry-level MacBook Pro has received from Apple is the 8th Gen Intel Core processor alongside the addition of Touch Bar and Touch ID power button. In addition to them, the model also features with True Tone Retina display and Apple T2 Security Chip.
Priced at RM 5499, the base option comes with a 1.4GHz/3.9GHz Intel Core i5 quad-core processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB solid state drive. Customers can push those specs further up to a 1.7GHz/4.5GHz Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, 16GB RAM, and 2TB solid state drive which would then cost them RM 11899.
If you are a student, you would be eligible to purchase the MacBook Pro at a discounted price ranging from RM 5099 up to RM 11279 depending on the specifications that you choose. The updated entry-level MacBook Pro can be purchased immediately in Malaysia through Apple’s official website.
