Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be available on consoles starting 6 September. The company did not make announce a release date for PC, until recently. We now know that the expansion will hit PCs early next year.
PCGamesN reports that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will arrive on PCs in January of next year. It’s a little unfortunate though that Capcom has not announced a specific date for the release. That said, chances are the publisher will announce the exact date closer to the launch month.
The base game, Monster Hunter: World, was announced for consoles, in January 2018, alongside a special edition PS4. The PC version of the game only came eight months later, in August. Considering the release gap for the base game, the one for the Iceborne expansion doesn’t feel as excruciating a wait.
Since its initial announcement, Capcom has revealed loads of new content for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. This includes a great number of returning monsters, as well as new subspecies of monsters introduced in Monster Hunter: World.
