After teasing its arrival into Malaysia for the past few weeks, Huawei today has officially announced that the Y9 Prime 2019 will be released into our market within this week. In case the phone’s name sound rather foreign to you, the new model is essentially the first Huawei phone to be equipped with a pop-up selfie camera.
According to the company, the motorized pop-up was designed to raise and retract for 100,000 times, while it is also apparently able to support up to 15kg of soft pressing force. Housed within the motorized system is a 16MP sensor alongside an f/2.2 lens and AI-driven scene identifiers.
Powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 710F processor together with 4GB of RAM, the Y9 Prime 2019 also features a 6.59-inch Full HD+ LTPS display. On its back is a trio of cameras which inclusive of a 16MP f/1.8 camera together with an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and 2MP depth sensor.
Completing its general specifications is a 4000mAh and for the Malaysian market, the phone comes standard with substantially-sized storage of 128GB.
