While the phone might have received its world debut way back in April, it was only a few days ago that Samsung has begun to roll out the Galaxy A80 into selected markets throughout the world. Officially, its availability in Malaysia is not yet known at the moment but local retailers might already know a few details that Samsung has yet to reveal to the public.
According to DirectD who already begun taking pre-orders for the device, the Galaxy A80 is priced at RM 2499. In terms of release date, the retailer expects the phone to be available at its stores on 13 July.
A quick check through Lazada and Shopee also showed that plenty of other retailers have begun taking pre-orders for Galaxy A80 at around the same price:
Equipped with 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, the Galaxy A80 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 alongside 8GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a 3700mAh battery. Made for both standard and selfie photography, its rotating triple camera setup is inclusive of a 48MP main snapper, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a TOF 3D camera.
