We first saw this convertible gaming laptop at IFA 2018 but things then went rather quiet after that. Truth to be told, we thought it will never make its way into Malaysia but here we are: the Acer Predator Triton 900 was officially launched in our market earlier today alongside the company’s ultra light and thin laptop, Swift 7 2019.
Equipped with 17.3-inch 4K IPS touch display that has native 144Hz refresh rate, the beastly desktop replacement machine also comes standard with Intel Core i7-9750H for the Malaysian market. It also carries two 8GB DDR4 dual channel RAM as well as a pair of 512GB PCIe NVMe solid state drive that are linked together in RAID 0 mode.
Weighing at around 4.40kg, the Predator Triton 900 relies on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM to process all the graphics-related workloads that are being thrown at it. Accompanied by a 330W power supply, a 4-cell 4670mAH battery completes the device’s general hardware specifications.
Protected with 2-years of local on-site warranty as well as coverage against accidental damage and theft, the Predator Triton 900 can be obtained immediately in Malaysia for RM 15,999. Do check out the on-going Predator Roadshow in Sunway Pyramid this week if you want to take a look at one of Acer’s most unique creation to date.
