Remember how Adobe announced that it was bringing its Photoshop CC program to the iPad? Well, it turns out that the company has begun opening up beta signups for Photoshop CC on the iPad, in light of the program’s imminent arrival this year.
According to 9to5Mac, Adobe has reportedly begun sending out email to Creative Cloud users. Prompting them to apply for the Photoshop for iPad program. Within the email is a link, and clicking the link will automatically redirect users to a Google Forms signup that will require filing up.
Sadly, the buck stops there in regards to any further information. Further, 9to5Mac indicates that signing up for the beta program does not guarantee or secure you a place within the beta program.
As a recap, Adobe announced its intentions to release a fully featured Photoshop CC app for the iPad during last year’s Adobe MAX 2018 event. Like its PC counterpart, the iPad version of the app would share the majority of the underlying code used in the desktop version, plus full layer support for stylus and finger control optimisation. Additionally, the new Photoshop CC for iPad will also introduce a new file format known as Cloud PSD.
For the time being, Adobe has yet to release a specific release date for Photoshop CC, although it’s highly possible that the app will soon be released within the coming months.
