To many, the iPhone XR was an unexpected variant for the current generation of Apple iPhones. It also turns out to be quite popular among users too, so it is not surprising that Apple might be working on phone’s successor for the 2019 release.
Hence, leaks regarding the phone’s design have begun to appear online. This particular set of renders came courtesy of serial leaker @OnLeaks and tech blog Pricebaba.
The first thing that catches our eyes is the double camera setup at its back which is housed in a square-shaped module. On the front part of the phone, the notch that was first introduced with the iPhone X also makes a return.
As for the rest of the phone, it looked pretty much the same as before. We have also heard from chatters within the rumour mill that the successor to iPhone XR will continue to be made available in a variety of colours.
Of course, early renders such as above don’t necessarily reflect the final product. Based on past experiences, the next batch of iPhones would usually be announced in September which means we are still months away before we are able to know how accurate these renders will be.
