First announced to the world back in February, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has begun to pop up at retail stores in Malaysia. Now officially available directly from Samsung Malaysia’s website itself, the tablet is not alone though as it is being joined by three other equally new Galaxy Tab A (2019) devices.
Equipped with a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display that also features a native resolution of 2560 x 1600, the Galaxy Tab S5e is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor alongside 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The LTE-equipped tablet also comes standard with a 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, and a 7050mAh battery to provides it with up to 15 hours of video playback.
As for the Galaxy Tab A (2019) series with LTE connectivity, consumers can choose to have it with either 10.1-inch or 8-inch displays which have similar native resolution of 1920 x 1200. Other than that, both variants also feature Samsung Exynos 7 Octa 7904 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
However, they do come with different battery capacities though. The bigger Galaxy Tab A (2019) 10.1 has a 6150mAh battery that allows it to achieve up to 13 hours of video playback. On another hand, the smaller Galaxy Tab A (2019) 8.0 is equipped with a 4200mAh which helps the tablet achieve 11 hours of video playback time.
For those who prefer a Wi-Fi only version of these tablets, the only available option if the Galaxy Tab A (2019). Even then, this particular variant somehow comes with less RAM at 2GB as opposed to its LTE-enabled counterpart.
Available immediately through Samsung Malaysia’s official website, the Galaxy Tab S5e is leading the price list at RM 1,999 while the LTE-enabled Galaxy Tab A (2019) 10.1 and 8.0 can be obtained for RM 1,299 and RM 1,099 respectively. For the Wi-Fi only variant of Galaxy Tab A (2019) 10.1, it goes for RM 899.
