Freshly unveiled at New York earlier this month, Acer has recently confirmed the finalized availability and specifications for its newly redesigned Nitro 5 gaming laptop. While we were originally informed that the laptop will be released within this month, the release date has since been shifted to early May instead.
True to our prediction, the 2019 Nitro 5 model will indeed carry the equally new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 16 series graphics in the form of GeForce GTX 1650 with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM. In Malaysia, the laptop also comes standard with 256GB PCIe solid state drive and 4GB of DDR4 RAM although it can support memory configurations of up to 32GB.
As revealed at Acer’s New York press conference, the 2019 Nitro 5 also carried the newly announced 9th Gen Intel Core H-series processors. Consumers in Malaysia can choose to obtain the gaming laptop with either Intel Core i5-9300H quad-core chip or the more powerful Intel Core i7-9750H six-core processor.
Naturally, their choice of CPU also determined the pricing of the laptop as the Core i5 model goes for RM 3499 while the Core i7 variant is listed at RM 4399. With that, do keep a look at its arrival at the official Acer online stores as well as authorized dealers throughout Malaysia next month.
