While still arguably the most popular fighting game of the generation, Street Fighter V isn’t free of controversial content. But now, Capcom is giving the game a two week free trial period very soon.
Applies to both PS4 and PC versions of the game, the free trial period will starts on 24 April at 8:00 AM Malaysian time of 24 April until 1:00 AM Malaysian time on 7 May 2019. That said, the PS4 version of the game will still require a PS Plus subscription if you intend to make use of its online features.
During the trial period, players will have access to all 16 characters that were available since the game’s release as well as four DLC characters that include Akuma, Blanka, Juri and Menat. If you already owned Street Fighter V but none of the DLC characters mentioned above, they will also be available for you to use during this trial window, and any progress made the trial period will be carried over.
If you already thinking of preloading the game in anticipation of the 2-weeks free trial, we afraid you have to contain your excitement first though. This is because you’ll only be able to download the game four hours prior to the start of the trial period.
