For those who are following the Mortal Kombat series, you’ll know that the 11th entry of the series is due to be released tomorrow, 23 April 2019. But it looks like some people are getting the game early. Eurogamer reports that UK customers are getting Mortal Kombat 11 from online retailers earlier than they should.
As a result, gameplay videos are popping up on YouTube, containing spoilers to key story moments, and unannounced characters. Some go as far as putting them on the video titles and thumbnails. In response, Warner Bros Interactive has been handing out copyright strikes like candy.
On a related note, dataminers have also begun work on the game, doing what they do best. Part of their mining reveals what looks like a list of DLC characters, even if the dataminers did not confirm if they will indeed be playable.
As mentioned earlier, Mortal Kombat 11 is scheduled to be released officially tomorrow, 23 April 2019. You might want to stay away from YouTube for a while if you want to have a completely spoiler-free experience.
