Alongside the Predator Helios 700 gaming laptop that comes with a sliding keyboard, another new Predator product that Acer has unveiled at its press conference in New York yesterday is the gigantic Predator CG437K P monitor. In case you wonder, no, this is not the same Predator BFGD that was announced at CES 2018.
In fact, the new Predator CG7 is not even part of the Big Format Gaming Display (BFGD) category. This is because the new monitor missing the full NVIDIA G-Sync support although it was stated on stage that the Predator CG7’s Adaptive Sync feature is supported by NVIDIA GeForce cards despite the monitor has not yet been listed on NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible database.
Categorized by Acer as a Large Format Gaming Display (LFGD) product, the 43-inch display which utilizes VA panel has a native 4K resolution as well as 144Hz refresh rate. The panel on the VESA-Certified DisplayHDR 1000 monitor also has 90% DCI-P3 color gamut.
The new Predator CG437K P monitor has a general release date starting from May onwards with a price tag of USD 1,199.99 (about RM 4,938). It is not known at the moment whether Acer will release it in Malaysia or otherwise but we’ll keep you posted once we heard more from the company.
