Originally made its debut earlier this year, Xiaomi has announced that it will be releasing the Redmi Go in Malaysia later this week. Aptly enough, this phone is pre-installed with Android Oreo Go edition which suits its nature as an entry-level smartphone.
Equipped with a 5.0-inch HD LCD display, Redmi Go is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. The variant in Malaysia comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage as standard with the support for microSD card with storage up to 128GB.
The entry-level dual-SIM phone is also equipped with an 8MP f/2.0 rear camera together with another 5MP f/2.2 camera on its front for selfies. A 3000mAh battery completes its general specifications.
Available in Black, the new Redmi Go can be obtained for RM 299 starting from 13 April onwards. The phone will be made available at Mi Stores nationwide as well as the company’s official stores on Lazada and Shopee.
