Xiaomi’s phone with a double folding display has appeared again in another teaser video. The foldable phone was previously teased by Lin Bin, the company’s vice president. He released a video of himself operating the foldable device in multiple forms and it looks very promising.
The teaser video this time is relatively short at around 10 seconds long. It demonstrates the device being operated in two modes; a tablet mode, before being folded at both ends to transform into a phone mode. The video also shows the operator using the device with gesture control, which is handy for one-handed operations.

Additional rumours also suggest that Xiaomi’s foldable phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, and have a maximum RAM configuration of 10GB. The device is expected to be available in the second half of this year. Further, it is estimated to be retail at half the supposed asking price of Samsung’s Galaxy Fold.
At the time of writing, Xiaomi did not comment or make an official announcement for the foldable device.
