Apple has just unveiled plenty of new services at its special event in Cupertino which includes a game subscription service called Apple Arcade. While we have heard rumours regarding it prior to tonight’s event, Apple still has plenty of new information to share tonight.
For starters, the titles within Apple Arcade will be actually handpicked by Apple itself who will work closely with the developers themselves and also covers some of the development costs. The company stated that there will be more than 100 new titles to be made available exclusively via Apple Arcade.
Being a subscription service, it is rather natural that there are no ads on Apple Arcade games. Not only that, Apple also promises that there are no ad tracking or in-app purchases within these games which can be shared with up to six family members under one subscription.
Furthermore, Apple Arcade titles can be enjoyed through iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. Alongside offline play capability, gamers are also able to continue the progress of their game from one device to another.

To be made available in more than 150 countries later this year, users are able to access the Apple Arcade titles via a dedicated tab that is coming to App Store on iOS, macOS, and tvOS. However, the exact subscription fee for the service is not yet known at the moment.
