Aside from the new Intel Graphics Command Center, the chip maker has also taken the opportunity to discuss the upcoming 9th Gen Intel Core H-series processors for laptops at Game Developers Conference 2019. For those who not familiar with the series, it is designed for high-performance users which made it a de facto choice for Intel-based gaming laptops.
According to Intel’s announcement at GDC, these new processors are scheduled for launch in the second quarter of this year which will also include Core i9 chips. However, the company did not disclose any technical details such as core setups and clock speed in its GDC announcement although the specifications for the processors were already leaked out recently.
That being said, Intel did mention some of the features that the 9th Gen Intel Core H-series mobile processors will be able to support. Among them include Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 network adapter as well as Intel Optane memory and Thunderbolt 3.
To recap, Intel is still keeping all important details regarding the 9th Gen Core H-series close to its chest. All in all, the company pretty much want you to know that these chips are coming to high-performance and gaming laptops very soon.
