Two months after its debut at CES 2019, Acer has finally brought over its latest gaming laptop, the Predator Triton 500 gaming laptop to Malaysia. Combining performance and sleek design, the company stated that the Triton 500 is one of the slimmest laptops to come with NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics.
Available with up to GeForce RTX 2070 graphics, the Triton 500 in Malaysia can also be obtained with up to Intel Core i7-8750H processor. The gaming laptop also comes standard with a total of 512GB PCIe NVME solid state drive in RAID 0 mode and 16GB DDR4-2666 RAM for all three variants that are made available in Malaysia.
Not to forget, the Triton 500 also features 15.6-inch Full HD IPS panel with 144Hz refresh rate and support for NVIDIA G-Sync tech. Additionally, it is also equipped with three Acer’s 4th Gen Aeroblade 3D fans – one for CPU and two for GPU – which apparently provides up to 45% better airflow compared to conventional fans. Also accompanying these fans are 5 heat pipes to help cool down the laptop.
Not to forget, the Triton 500 also comes with a dedicated Turbo button which allows gamers to overclock the laptop’s GeForce RTX graphics instantly. Being a GeForce RTX laptop, customers that purchased Triton 500 are eligible to redeem either Battlefield V, Anthem, or Metro: Exodus for free as part of NVIDIA RTX Triple Threat program.
Available immediately throughout Acer Malaysia’s official online stores and dealers nationwide, the Intel Core i5-8300H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 version of the Triton 500 goes for RM 6799 while the model with Intel Core i7-8750H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 costs RM 7599. As for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q model which also features Intel Core i7-8750H processor, it is priced at RM 8699.
