In a rather surprising announcement from the company, Xiaomi has also brought forward Redmi 7 to Malaysia. In case you missed it, the phone has just been launched in China yesterday.
Consumers in Malaysia are able to obtain the new Redmi 7 starting from 27 March onwards. Available variants include 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which is priced at RM 499 or they can also opt for the model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage for RM 599.
Unlike Redmi Note 7 which received an 18-month warranty, the Redmi 7 warranty is limited to the standard 12-month warranty. As stated earlier, the phone will be available in Malaysia on 27 March through Lazada and Shopee as well as DirectD and Urban Republic branches.
For those who prefer to obtain the Redmi 7 via telco, do look out for the announcement from Maxis very soon.
