Xiaomi today has expanded the lineup of its sub-brand, Redmi by launching the new Redmi 7. Just like its predecessors such as Redmi 6A and Redmi 6, the new model thread nicely between entry-level and lower mid-range market.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632, Redmi 7 also carries 6.26-inch HD+ display alongside up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone is also able to support up to 512GB of expandable storage.
Photography-wise, the camera on its back is a combination of 12MP and 2MP sensors while on the front is another 8MP camera. Completing its general specifications is a 4000mAh battery and the phone is also accompanied by a 5V2A charger.
In terms of price, the 2GB/16GB version of the phone has been listed at CNY 699 (about RM424) while the 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB variants are priced at CNY 799 (~RM485) and CNY 999 (~RM546) respectively. It is not known whether Redmi 7 will be making its way to Malaysia anytime soon; so we’ll keep you posted once we hear more from Xiaomi.
