Google has teased before that it has plans for the gaming market and will be making a grand unveiling at the upcoming Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2019. Naturally, the company didn’t pass up the opportunity to tease further as we get closer to the event.
The search giant has put a video up on Twitter, illustrating a variety of video game environments. Together with the accompanying sounds in the background, it seems to also illustrate a number of different gaming genres, from racing to role-playing games (RPGs).

And while it is still unclear as to what exactly the teaser is about, there’s already a dedicated page on the Google Store. This leads us to believe that the announcement at GDC may involve some hardware which could be the much-rumoured streaming games console that makes use of Project Stream, or it may be the controller described in a recent patent.
We don’t have to wait long to know more though since GDC 2019 is just a week away. Soon, we’ll find out what Google has in store for the gaming market.
