Just like the Galaxy S10 phones themselves, this particular product has also appeared in the rumor circle for quite some time. Called the Galaxy Buds, these wireless earbuds have finally received its official debut at the Samsung Unpacked 2019 event in San Francisco earlier this week.
Tuned by AKG, the ergonomically designed Bluetooth 5.0 earbuds come with a number of nifty features including the Quick Ambient Sound that allow users to hear their surroundings even though they still wearing the buds. Each of them is also equipped with a feature called Adaptive Dual Microphone that utilizes a pair of inner and outer microphones so that users’ voices can be heard clearly regardless of the environment.
In terms of battery life, the Galaxy Buds are able to last up to six hours of Bluetooth playback with up to five hours of call time. Their charging case which supports wireless charging is able to hold up to seven hours of charges and able to provide the earbuds with 1.7 hours of battery life through just 15 minutes of charging time.
Not surprisingly, Samsung has also integrated Bixby with Galaxy Buds which allows Samsung Galaxy users to easily activate the virtual personal assistant without even taking out their Galaxy devices. At this moment, Samsung has yet to reveal the release date and pricing for Galaxy Buds in Malaysia.
That being said, pre-order customers for 128GB variant of Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus in Malaysia will receive them for free. In the United States, the Galaxy Buds is priced at USD 129.99 (around RM 531).
