Logitech has made a fair number of gaming mice but perhaps the most well known among them was the MX518. The brand is reportedly bringing it back, with a minor redesign and modern components.
So what’s new with the MX518 refresh? A HERO 16K optical sensor, a 32-bit ARM processor, and a 1ms polling rate are just some of the features that are present in the mouse. There are also eight programmable buttons that can be stored in the mouse itself, along with on-the-fly DPI adjustment buttons.
It also comes with a colour scheme that Logitech is calling “Nightfall”. Beyond that, everything else about the new MX518 should be familiar to those who have owned its predecessor. To keep to its retro theme and design, Logitech is also bundling it with a 7-foot (~2m) cable.
The Logitech MX518 comes with a price tag of US$59.99 (~RM244). But for now, there’s no word on local pricing and availability.
